Mrs. Ingebrigtsen

Kindergarten K2

Mrs. Ingebrigtsen’s Kindergarten Class

Be sure to check out our Fun Photos page.  I finally got all of my pictures downloaded, and I put them on our website (there are A LOT!).

We would love donated wrapping paper or bows for our wrapping station that we have in our social skills room.

Snack…We are in need of additional snacks.  Please send more snacks with your child ASAP.

Show and Tell…Please remember that show and tell is based on the letter of the week (see assignments page for the letter), and you should be helping your child write three clues at home.

Christmas Party…Finally, if you are interested in helping with our Christmas party, please shoot me an email.  I am in need of volunteers as well as donations.  The party will be from 12:30-2:00 on 12/20 (there is a slight possibility of a last minute cancellation due to concert rehearsal).  For donations: Christmas themed beads or jingle bells and cookies and decorating supplies.

Sight words…Please be practicing sight words at home with your child.  If your child does not know his nor her letter sounds at this point, you should be practicing almost every night.  We are working hard in kindergarten, but as are moving into blending and segmenting words it is imperative that all children know the letter sounds.

Just a reminder to send hats, mittens, snowpants, and boots.  We go outside all the way to -10.  Please have your kiddos practice getting dressed independently at home; many of them are already doing great with this.  Please keep your eyes open for photos from our class on the fun photos page (I have a lot, but I am still working on getting them all uploaded!).  Additionally, it is VERY cold in our classrooms some days (especially one windy ones!).  If your child is cold easily, please send a sweater or sweatshirt.

If your child wears tie shoes to school, please practice tying at home.
