About Us
Epiphany Catholic School Mission Statement:
In a Partnership of Faith with our families, Epiphany Catholic School educates children through truth, goodness, and beauty. We provide a Catholic environment that forms students in knowledge and virtue to become saints and citizens who love Christ and His Church.
The Epiphany Catholic Preschool Program, a non-profit organization that began in 2004, was established out of a need for adequate preparation for kindergarten. In 2017 the preschool expanded its services to include a full-day option to meet the changing needs of the community. In 2021, the preschool expanded to include a Montessori program along with the current Preschool & Prekindergarten program within the preschool. Our preschool program targets the needs of three, four, and five-year-old’s, with the primary focus on academic, spiritual, and social-emotional development.
Special Recognitions: 4-Star Parent Aware Rated. MNSSA Accredited as of May 2023.
We as a caring Catholic community want to meet the needs of our Parish by providing an affordable, high-quality school-readiness preschool program. Our program seeks to provide children with a foundation for future education and an enthusiastic desire to learn. Based upon a classical and holistic approach, our program will focus on the child’s total well-being, including social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual health. Our preschoolers experience our Catholic faith in many ways including daily prayers, monthly virtues and saints, weekly mass attendance, and celebration of Catholic feast days. Additionally, preschoolers will spend an hour weekly in Atrium as part of the Catechesis of the Good Shepard Faith Formation program.
The Epiphany Catholic Preschool Program will encourage the development of fundamental academic, self-help, and social skills which will prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond. Play Together. Pray Together. Learn Together. Grow Together. The Journey begins at Epiphany!

The Catholic faith is at the heart of Epiphany Catholic Preschool. To prepare children we focus on the fundamentals. The curriculums offer a wide range of skill-building activities so the needs of each child can be met. Academic skills include letter and number recognition, classification, one-to-one correspondence, cutting, and printing. Catholic teachings influence all curricula. Bible stories and lessons are carefully selected to enhance weekly and monthly themes. Social-emotional skills include sharing, taking turns, lining up, raising a hand to speak, and expressing one’s thoughts and feelings. Also provided are self-help experiences including zipping, snapping, and buttoning. The curriculum in our preschool covers the areas of physical development & health and safety, language and literacy, the arts, social studies/geography, mathematical thinking, scientific thinking, and personal & social development. Lesson plans will be viewable on the Lillio application. Please note that the plans/activities listed may change based on the discretion of the teacher.
All Preschool students visit the atrium once a week where they experience Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. This is a time for them to grow in their relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Using Montessori methods, a Catechist presents to the child materials on Bible, Liturgy, and prayer while pondering with them the mysteries our faith.
