Middle School Literature and Composition

Email

Mrs. Amy Hanson is in her 16th year of teaching at Epiphany, where she leads Middle School Literature and Composition. She brings a deep passion for reading into her classroom, inspiring students to develop a genuine love for literature.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Hanson enjoys spending time with her husband and their four young children. One of her most cherished family traditions is reading aloud together—an experience she values deeply and encourages other families to continue for as long as possible. Her dedication to fostering a lifelong love of reading is evident both in her teaching and in her home life.

“I feel blessed to be part of the Epiphany community as it continually inspires me to strive for holiness. One of my favorite quotes, attributed to Pope Benedict XVI is, ‘The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.’ This sentiment is alive at Epiphany as we grow in virtue and seek to help each other become saints.”
