1st Grade Teacher
Full-time (with benefits). 10‑month position
Salary: $40,000 – $55,000, depending on education and experience
Start Date: August 18, 2026
Work Schedule: Follows the school calendar and daily schedule
Position Summary
The 1st Grade Teacher provides instruction and supervision across all assigned curriculum areas while implementing Epiphany Catholic School’s classical curriculum and classroom practices. The teacher supports the academic, spiritual, and social development of students in collaboration with families and colleagues.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include planning and delivering age‑appropriate lessons aligned with grade‑level standards; differentiating instruction; assessing student progress; maintaining a well‑managed classroom; communicating with families; collaborating with colleagues; and contributing to the life of the school community.
Instruction and supervision are provided in accordance with the school and parish mission, philosophy, handbooks, curriculum, and direction of the principal and pastor.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Education or related field
- Minnesota Teaching License preferred
- Knowledge of early literacy and foundational math instruction
- Ability to implement classical teaching practices
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Active, practicing Roman Catholic
Middle School Science Teacher (Grades 6–8)
Full-time (with benefits). 10‑month position
Salary: $40,000 – $55,000, depending on education and experience

Position Summary
The Middle School Science Teacher provides engaging, standards‑aligned instruction for students in grades 6–8 while implementing Epiphany Catholic School’s classical curriculum and classroom practices. The teacher fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for God’s creation, while supporting students’ academic, spiritual, and moral development in preparation for high school and beyond.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include planning and delivering standards‑aligned science instruction; leading labs and hands‑on learning experiences; differentiating instruction; assessing student progress; maintaining a structured, well‑managed classroom; communicating with families; collaborating with colleagues; and contributing to the life of the school community.
Instruction and supervision are provided in accordance with the school and parish mission, philosophy, handbooks, curriculum, and direction of the principal and pastor.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Education, Science, or related field
- Minnesota Teaching License preferred
- Strong content knowledge in middle school science
- Ability to integrate faith, reason, and wonder in science instruction
- Ability to implement classical teaching practices
- Effective classroom management, organization, and communication skills
- Active, practicing Roman Catholic
Substitute Teacher
The substitute teacher provides instruction and supervision for students across assigned curriculum areas and activities, in alignment with the mission and curriculum of Epiphany Catholic School. This role follows the guidance and expectations set forth by the principal and pastor, ensuring continuity of learning and environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
