At Epiphany, music and performance are a vibrant part of the school day. All students are engaged in a rich music curriculum, with a strong emphasis on choir in the middle school years.
Our choir program is a particular strength of Epiphany. Under the direction of experienced vocal coach and choir director Liz Grefsheim, students receive intentional, high-quality instruction in choral singing. Middle school students (grades 6–8) participate in an advanced program featuring two ensembles- Cantemus (male voices) and Belle Voce (female voices). Meeting twice weekly, these groups focus on vocal technique, sight reading, music theory, and collaborative performance, with instruction tailored to the unique stages of voice development.
A highlight of the year is our annual middle school musical production, where every student in grades 6–8 takes part. This full-scale performance weaves together choral music, choreography, staging, costumes, and lighting, bringing their musical training to life in a unified, joyful performance.
