Virtue Families

Virtue Families are intentional, multi‑grade groups that function as small school “families,” where students feel known, Virtue Families create a sense of belonging where students feel supported and connected. Each family is represented by a beloved saint and a specific Catholic virtue, giving students a clear model to follow.

Groups meet regularly for open dialogue and activities rooted in the liturgical season, helping students put Catholic virtue into action in real life.

Student leadership is central to the program. Our 8th grade Commanders guide discussions, model virtue, and mentor younger students, supported by a staff advisor who ensures each group remains grounded while preserving peer leadership. These relationships foster mentorship, empathy, and a strong, family‑like community.

Virtue Families are also organized into four Houses, each representing an overarching value and a great saint. Through fun, friendly competition, these Houses build school spirit, engagement, and shared joy.
