Virtue Families are intentional, multi‑grade groups that function as small school “families,” where students feel known, supported, and connected. Each family is represented by a beloved saint and a specific Catholic virtue, giving students a clear model to follow.
Groups meet regularly to explore Catholic virtue through open dialogue and activities rooted in the liturgical season.
A hallmark of the program is student leadership.
Our 8th grade Commanders lead discussions, model virtue, and mentor younger students. A staff advisor accompanies each family, offering support when needed, while keeping the experience primarily peer‑led.
This structure strengthens:
- Belonging – A consistent, family‑like community.
- Mentorship – Older students guiding younger ones.
- Empathy & Awareness – Multi‑age conversations that build understanding.
- Catholic Virtue in Action – Real‑life application through dialogue and liturgical activities.
Virtue Families are also organized into four Houses, each representing an overarching value and a great saint. Together, they foster a joyful, connected community rooted in Catholic virtue and student leadership.
