Mrs. Maria Monson brings a decade of diverse teaching experience to Epiphany Catholic School. She holds degrees in Secondary Education, Communication Arts and Literature, and Catholic Studies, and is currently pursuing her master’s in Catholic Studies.
Shaped by a classical homeschool education, Mrs. Monson cultivated a deep love for literature, storytelling, and the classical tradition. Her teaching career began in college with homeschool families and has since spanned metro-area schools, a classical charter school where she taught literature and formal logic, and an English immersion program in Italy.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, adventuring with her husband, and spending time with her family.
“Education exists to form virtuous individuals and lead them toward God. We achieve this by exploring reality, seeking truth, and cultivating an appreciation for goodness and beauty.”
