Ben Blackhawk teaches Middle School Math at Epiphany and holds a B.A. in Math and Music Education from St. Olaf College. He joined Epiphany in 2018 and, in addition to teaching math, has also taught Latin and directed the male choir.
Before coming to Epiphany, Mr. Blackhawk was the founding high school math teacher at Providence Academy in Plymouth when it opened in 2001. He spent 17 years there, teaching all levels of math and directing the Upper School choir.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Blackhawk serves as Director of the Latin Mass Choir and Schola at All Saints in Northeast Minneapolis. He and his wife Rae, married for 41 years, have raised six children and are now blessed with 15 grandchildren.
