Father Thomas Dufner was ordained in 1983 and has served at the Cathedral of St. Paul, St. Raphael’s in Crystal, St. Nicholas in New Market, and Holy Family in St. Louis Park. He has been pastor at Epiphany since 2013. Before seminary, Father held a variety of jobs—from security guard to tradesman—that gave him valuable life experience for which he is deeply grateful. A passionate advocate for the unborn, he has led weekly rosaries outside abortion clinics since 1992, undeterred by weather. He used to joke that HFC (Holy Family Church) stood for Hunting, Fishing, Camping—his favorite pastimes.
